Wonderful customer service. A slight change to a menu item was no trouble to this establishment. I'm a plain eater and appreciated them fulfilling my request. My meal was absolutely delicious. I had perfectly cooked salmon with a side of fries.

What a beautiful venue. Love the whole location.. The old schoolhouse is beautiful and the food is next level. I ordered the seafood lemon grass broth and it was sublime! My dad had the royal Brighton beach burger and he is raving about it. The charcoal bun was a huge hit and quite novel to him too. My girlfriend had the quinoa fritters, which she loved as well. We will definitely be back

FOOD
Hangover breakfast - BIG breakfast!!! I love brunch food and I would say this is your go to if you're like me 😅
Charcoal pancake - playful colours and very nice presentation. First time I tried charcoal pancake and it was a good experience with all those toppings on it.
Chai latte - I would suggest to order only one for two persons as it's more than enough
SERVICE
Staff are approachable. Quick service considering these food would take an ample amount of time to prepare.
PLACE
I love the vibe. You would love it too if you're into beautiful victorian architecture. The toilet is located outside and you need to ask for the key to access the toilet.
Located near a church and thus, along the church street, I guess 😉

The food was so great that I had forgotten to take photos of it! Highly recommend the baked eggs, the burgers and the drinks. The atmosphere is also very soothing, perfect for families and those with little ones, they have a playground outside the school house for them to play. Also plenty of outdoor seating.

Many outdoor seat. Food & Drink are beautiful but a little bit expensive. It's my first time to try the Purple sweet potato latte and it's nice. For the Red Velvet Pancakes itself, the flavour is not strong enough. So I try to eat it with Ice Cream then it's ok.

☑️location- easy to find, along the main road.
☑️place- not the typical outside restaurant look. Nice setting and interior. Toilet is clean- located outside and you need a key to enter.
☑️food- well presented/ plating. Flavourful. The charcoal waffle is not too sweet. Their chai and dark chai is perfect.
☑️service/staff- accomodating and welcoming.
☑️price- average. Worth spending with this kind of food and food service.
100% must try.

The Brighton Schoolhouse has a very large outdoor seating area and they have beautifully transformed a church into a trendy cafe.
We visited on a Sunday afternoon at around 2:45.
Ordered Oreo Freak shake, chocolate milkshake, Oreo milkshake and a banana berries smoothie for drinks and Benny, pork belly, chilly soft shell crab burger and charcoal waffles.
I was very excited when my Oreo freak shake arrived as it has marshmallows, a waffle cone, ice-cream and everything that makes your mouth waters.
I was quite disappointed when I took a sip and it tasted like milk mixed with plain vanilla ice-cream... there was no Oreo flavour or any sweetness to it. The Oreo milkshake has very mild Oreo flavour in it and the chocolate milkshake has no flavour at all...
The smoothie on the other hand was quite nice!
Food took a while to arrive, presentation was again very nice. The Benny was quite average, although I must say the bread was very nice and soft!
Chill soft shell crab burger and the pork belly has nice flavours.
Unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy the the charcoal waffles as it has an acquired taste compared to normal waffles.
Overall I’d say it was quite disappointing, I would give it another try when I’m in the area again and hopefully this was a one off experience as other reviews were great.

Had lovely experience, breakfast was great presentation and very tasty. Staff was friendly and thoughtful of our dog, brought fresh ball of water without even asking.
Definitely recommended to dog owners. And just for Sunday breakfast 🥞
